Gee, I hope there's change...

The 'Making Work Pay' tax credit, a stronghold of Obama's campaign, was supposed to help stimulate the economy (which of course it wouldn't). It could actually raise taxes for the very people it was intended to help. It turns out people working two jobs or collecting social security could pay more in taxes than the amount they received from the credit. Guaranteed not on the list, the evil, rich 5%.

Dummycrats will just claim it's just right-wing lies. Well, the news comes straight from the U.S. Treasury.

You know what offers true tax relief? A genuine stimulus? The Fair Tax.

By the way, this affects you and me. That $20 or so each month in increased take home pay because your job withheld less... yeah, you ... you may have to give the money to the government.

Remember the Bush tax credit? You received an actual refund check from the government. The democrats called that a tax cut for the rich. They called it irresponsible.

Under Obama's method instead of sending you actual money they just promise not to take as much in the first place, and then take it anyway.

Hope and change.
